Order Manager

Ensuring a high level of service
Meeting production deadlines is a key factor in the quality of service provided to the client. Within the sales department, the order manager is the link between sales administration, which manages orders, and the industrial scheduling department, which plans the manufacturing. The Order Manager coordinates client orders, is responsible for monitoring ongoing contracts, manages stocks of standard products, and gathers the forecasts and reservations from the sales network in order to meet sales commitments and thus provide clients with a high level of service.
Contributing to industrial optimization
The order manager must, at the same time, help to improve Saverglass production across all its industrial sites. Having an overview and analysis of all the industrial and sales activities (forecasts, seasonality, etc.), the Order Manager proposes the adjustments required according to the production run schedules (colors campaigns) and manufacturing priorities. They align, determine and anticipate order demand.
  • Higher education in an Engineering School or a Business School, the Order Manager has significant Supply Chain/Scheduling/Logistics/Production Organization experience.
  • They must have sales awareness, be a good listener and have good knowledge of the different IT tools.
  • English required.

Logistics assistant

Ensuring transport quality
Transportation of our products to clients all over the world is a vital link in the Saverglass Group logistics chain, which requires suppliers to provide a faultless quality service. The Logistics Assistant is responsible for ensuring this requirement is met with transporters and monitoring delivery operations. They analyze transport requirements and choose transporters with the best prices and quality guarantees (compliance with deadlines, care of goods, etc.) in the geographical area concerned.
Monitoring all operations overall 
Liaising with the sales department, the stock department and the forklift truck operators, the Logistics Assistant monitors all operations, from receipt of delivery requests through to delivery of items to clients, ensuring that they run smoothly. They are in charge of administrative monitoring of files (delivery notes, classification, etc.).
  • Qualified in Logistics Management with a higher education diploma at BTS/DUT level  
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent knowledge of office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

For how long have you been doing this job? I joined the company because it was undergoing a huge expansion, as well as for the opportunities that we are given to be able to develop and to express ourselves through our motivations and responsibilities.

Why do you like this job? I have worked in the scheduling and planning department for 12 years now. You have to be very logical to work in the scheduling section and for the planning section you have to be meticulous and like fitting the pieces of the puzzle together.

What made you want to join Saverglass? What I find very enriching is the human contact that we have with the different departments. This can range from the sales department to the different departments directly linked to production. 


Céline Duchemin - Order Manager

For how long have you been doing this job? A little over 4 years (4 1/2 years).
Why do you like this job? The integration of sales challenges with commercial constraints at the heart of the supply chain, in collaboration with a range of both in-house and external contacts.
What made you want to join Saverglass? The discovery of the glassmaking industry in which Saverglass is a leader in high-end bottle production, but also the attraction of new challenges within an ambitious and dynamic group that knows how to develop on an international level, while remaining on a human scale.
