The extraordinary capacity of diamonds to reflect and refract light continues to amaze and inspire designers the world over. As an ode to the expertise of the diamond maker, Saverglass has adorned the base of the Antik Bordelaise with three original jewelry sets, inspired by precious gems.
Far from being figurative, these motifs, which reinterpret the points of the diamonds, with their sharp angles and delicate reliefs, celebrate the art of transformation. By visiting this legendary stone in a modern way, these three new creations make the light dance on the sharp edges of the motifs, setting the bottles in the DIAMOND collection with infinite reflections.
In its original version, recognizable by its low height (266 mm) and pronounced shoulder, the Bordelaise Antik evokes the classic silhouette of bottles of yesteryear. Now it is even more elegant, in a renewed version that captures the sharp angles and perfectly cut peaks of the most famous of jewels.
This adornment, which combines symmetry, the geometry of lines and a mosaic of volumes, gives the Bordelaise Antik DIAMOND a new aesthetic that is timeless, distinctive and unique.
These graphic motifs, which blend geometry and contrast, create a play of light and shadow that animates both the antique green color and the extra-white glass with a captivating new radiance.
As fascinating as it is energizing, the CARAT motif follows a precise representation from the jeweler, while emancipating itself from a symmetry that might be a little too wise: a series of raised squares randomly dot the base of the bordelaise Antik CARAT, composing a unique design that holds the attention.
At once sharp and soft to the touch, rigorous and light on the eye, the CARAT design creates a fascinating contrast with the smooth surface of the bottle. It also evokes the extraordinary skill of the artist craftsman, as if each square had been carefully and individually sculpted.
