Mastery and Aesthetics: Great Classics Revisited
In Bourgogne , the history of wine is written in the passing down of viticultural knowledge from generation to generation. Faithful custodians of the tremendous heritage that has been carried through the ages, the Grands Crus have been the source of inspiration for the Saverglass Heritage Collection.
Designed to reveal the very quintessence of Grands Crus, the Heritage Collection offers high-end bottles whose silhouettes mirror the authentic codes of historic reference models.
Today, environmental consciousness and the evolution of the wine market today a new approach to luxury. This is why Saverglass is lightening the weight of two bottles from the Heritage Collection: the Bourgogne Terroir and the Bourgogne Cru Classé.
All the character of the terroir, with added lightness
In line with its original version, BOURGOGNE TERROIR 2 reveals a strong character, fully embodying the unique identity of terroir wines. Its design, inspired by traditional regional bottles, is instantly recognizable: a long and slender neck for easy handling, a 35 mm square punt, pronounced shoulders, and a solid cylindrical body, now with a reduced weight of 570 grams. Complementing this is a broad and distinctive base, a true visual and symbolic anchor, grounding the bottle in the soil and proudly affirming its deep-rooted winemaking heritage.
Grand Cru stature, a lighter footprint
By combining a very long neck, a 30 mm punt, and a subtle taper, BOURGOGNE CRU CLASSÉ 2 skillfully revisits the traditional Burgundian design codes of the time. However, it is through its broad body diameter, its pronounced and generous shoulder, and its optimized weight of 580 grams that this new, lighter silhouette confidently embraces modernity. It thus reveals a contemporary elegance, in perfect harmony with CSR commitments.
